Executive Assistant Job Description
Part-time, average of 25 hours per week
 
Job Summary:
Water Street Studios is searching for an individual to execute on administrative and marketing needs at Water Street Studios. The Executive Assistant will work directly with the Executive Director. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.
 
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Front desk reception during public hours.
  • Provide administrative support such as creating reports, organizing documents, creating promotional material, managing organization’s calendar, etc.
  • Manage patron and membership database and processing.
  • Update and manage social media pages and website.
  • Assist with coordination of event logistics.
  • Answer general email inquires or directing information to appropriate staff member.
  • Assists with public relations and building arts advocacy in our community.
  • Perform related functions as assigned.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, QuickBooks, MailChimp, Facebook, Instagram, CRM systems, Canva.com. Adobe Suite is preferred but not required.  
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member with minimal supervision.
  • Dedicated to strengthening the support of the organization’s mission and vision in the community.
 
Experience and Education:
Two years of administrative or marketing experience required. Nonprofit experience is a plus. Bachelors or equivalent required.
