Member Relations Manager

Job Description

The St. Charles Chamber of Commerce is currently seeking a highly motivated and customer centric individual who would be responsible for enhancing the visibility and branding of the Chamber within the community, driving membership growth, retention and engagement, securing event sponsorships and enhancing the overall member experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual revenue plan and action plans to achieve plan objectives
  • Develop and execute an annual membership and sponsorship plan
  • Evolve and implement membership on-boarding program, engagement and retention strategies
  • Prospect new members and sponsors
  • Providing outstanding member experience, via a strong customer centric/customer service orientation
  • Create opportunities to drive member engagement in our quality programs and experiences
  • Lead and manage Membership Committee to support annual goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with Events and Marketing Communications Manager to support goals and objectives as well as ensure execution of sponsorship benefits
  • Track and report on revenue results, pipeline, sponsorships, membership trends and forecasts, utilizing MS Office and our membership database software (ChamberMaster)

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in sales
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Self- motivated, working independently, as well as, with a supportive team
  • Professional business acumen and appearance
  • Proficient in MS Office and desire to adopt membership database software
  • Bachelor’s Degree a plus

Base Salary: $25,000 - $28,000 Plus Commission

Job Types: Full-time, Commission

Salary: $25,000.00 to $28,000.00 /year
