Celebrate National Chili Day at the Kane County Farm Bureau

February 25, 2019
:                 Celebrate National Chili Day at the Kane County Farm Bureau

To celebrate National Chili Day, February 28th, the Kane County Farm Bureau FOUNDATION will host its 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off and Cornbread Competition.  This event will help to raise funds for the not-for-profit FOUNDATION, supporting Ag-in-the-Classroom learning and scholarships for local Kane County students.

This chili cook-off and cornbread competition will feature 5 categories for the public to sample or take home:  “Best Homestyle Chili”, “Best Non-Traditional Chili”, “Best Wildlife Chili”, “Best Vegetarian Chili”, and “Best Cornbread”.  There is surely something for everyone’s taste.  Your minimum donation of $5 will get you 6 tickets and each ticket will get you a Dixie cup of chili or a piece of cornbread.  Want to take a bowl home for later?  Use 6 tickets to do that and you’ll be happy you did.

Stop by any time after 5:30pm to support the winners and the FOUNDATION!  We are located at 2N710 Randall Road at Oak Street, in front of Costco.
