Two Sold-Out 2018 TriCity Family Services' Events Return This September
Trivia Night and Fashion Show deliver community fun, support for agency’s mission

Geneva, Ill (Sept. 2, 2019) – Mark your calendar now for the September return of two extremely popular TriCity Family Services-sponsored events … both were resurrected last year and both sold out to the public.

Mind Over Matter Trivia Night will take place on Saturday, September 14 at the Batavia Moose Lodge, located at 1535 S. Batavia Ave. Social hour is 6 to 7pm. Trivia questions begin at 7pm.

The event is an informal, fun competition where teams of 6 to 8 people, maximum of 10, battle other teams to see who has the greatest knowledge of all things trivial. Each team has its own table and answers questions together.

In addition to bringing a creative team name and theme, attendees are also encouraged to bring snacks for their table to share since the event is BYOF, Bring Your Own Food. The Batavia Moose provides a cash bar. No outside alcohol is permitted.

Cost to attend is $20 per person and all proceeds benefit TriCity Family Services. Space is limited and advance registration is strongly advised.

Then … has the steamy summer weather got you thinking about autumn and dressing for cooler temperatures? Grab your girlfriends and plan to be part of the fun at the Fall Fashion Show on Tuesday, September 24 at Club Arcada Speakeasy, 105 E. Main St. in St. Charles, from 6 to 8pm.

Celebrate a night out during the week and check out the latest clothing trends while supporting beauty from the inside-on-out.

Delivering a unique twist to the traditional fashion show concept, this event empowers females of all ages, races, sizes and backgrounds to connect inner and outer beauty and achieve their own definition of beauty. Fashions provided by Jeans & a Cute Top Shop and modeled by 11 representatives of TriCity Family Services.

Cost to attend is $35 per person and includes an Italian dinner buffet, raffles, cash bar and fashion show. In addition, each attendee will receive a complimentary swag bag of goodies. This event is open to all ages, men and women. Glancer Magazine is the proud Media Sponsor for the fashion show.
