Description
The Active River Task Force and the Hitchcock Design Group will present their draft design proposals for utilizing the Fox River to enhance the environmental, recreational and economic opportunities for the community. Community members are encouraged to attend and provide their comments and suggestions to the plan design components prior to the creation of the final plan. Based upon input from a previous public wiorkshop, interviews with key stakeholders and input from community members and groups the task forcwe has created a draft design that considers methods to improve the quality of the water in the Fox River, create both river based and riverfront recreational opportunities, and to create a new and vibrant lifestyle for the downtown area.
