FOX VALLEY HANDS OF HOPE PRESENTS 20^th ANNUAL GARDEN PARTY
More than 800 expected for May 25 luncheon, auction and showcase extravaganza benefiting Fox Valley’s premier bereavement support organization
 
 
GENEVA, ILLINOIS, April 5, 2018 – Fox Valley Hands of Hope announces its 20^th Annual Garden Party, featuring silent and live auctions, stunning showcase raffles, entertainment and a full luncheon, will be held Friday, May 25, at The Q Center in St Charles, Illinois.
 
Garden Party, considered the “kickoff” to the summer season in the Fox Valley, will be emceed this year by St. Charles Mayor Ray Rogina and will feature entertainment by singer Riley Elmore from Season 11 of “The Voice” on NBC.
 
Garden Party’s marquee raffle showcases will include weekend getaways, fully furnished patios and gardens, a complete home office, an “instant” wine cellar, dining tours, children’s rooms and much more. Plus, attendees will have the opportunity to bid on a bevy of live and silent auction items, including premier concert tickets (Elton John and Billy Joel), premier golfing, museum trips, and dream vacations.
 
Tickets cost $70 per person and may be purchased, starting April 18, either online at www.fvhh.net or by calling the organization at 630-232-2233.
 
“Last year’s Garden Party treated hundreds of attendees to breathtaking showcases for lucky raffle winners, a live auction and more – and this year’s event is going to be even more spectacular,” said Greg Weider, Executive Director.
 
Fox Valley Hands of Hope provides critical support services to adults, children and families experiencing grief and loss. In 2017, FVHH served nearly 1,400 men, women and children with volunteer-driven support services and more than a dozen support groups, including school-based programs. All services are provided free of charge to the community.
 
The Garden Party is FVHH’s largest annual fundraising event.
