St. Charles Mothers’ Club Takes Aim at “Perfect Game” with Bowling Fundraiser
 
Known for the past several years for their annual ladies’ luncheon tea fundraiser, this year’s fundraising committee decided to “Let the Good Times Bowl,” taking aim at a co-ed evening event that is sure to be fun for all, and the perfect opportunity for an adult evening out, complete with bowling, raffles and silent auction items.
The event will be held February 22 at St. Charles Bowl, doors open at 7:30 PM, cost is $30 (tax deductible to the extent allowable by law) per bowler/$20 per non-bowler and there are 6 bowlers per lane. Ticket purchase includes shoe rental, 2 games of bowling, pizza and soft drinks (cash bar). There will be DJ entertainment, raffles and a silent auction. Teams are encouraged to create a theme for their lane and can be as clever or outrageous as they like! All proceeds will benefit local individuals and families in need. Donations of items and certificates are greatly appreciated for the silent auction and raffle portion of the event and all donations are completely tax deductible. Businesses or individuals who would like to donate a silent auction or raffle item should contact Laura Kennedy at 630-587-5707.

The St. Charles Mothers’ Club is a 501(c)3 organization, originally founded in 1924, whose mission is to improve the lives of women, children and families in our community through philanthropic activities and community outreach events. Last year the club awarded $6,000 to three scholarship recipients and local charitable organizations that serve women, children and families in the Fox Valley.
