Description
Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley is hosting a free tutor training workshop for residents who want to help area adults improve their English. The four-session workshop will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 11, 13, 18 and 20 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at the St. Charles Public Library.
You do not need to have a background in education or a second language to be effective. Students say that the best tutors are good listeners and are patient.
