Natives make sense! Native does not mean 'weedy'! Plants that are native to Illinois not only tolerate our soil and weather conditions, they enjoy them! Learn how you can do your part no matter how small to contribute to a healthy ecosystem on Tuesday, September 10 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, with Trish Beckjord from Midwest Groundcovers. Trish is an experienced designer who know how to successfully integrate native plants into a regular landscape and is also an enthusiastic educator on the beauties and benefits of native plants.
