St. Charles, IL 4/10/2012-- Known for its famous ButterBurgers® and fresh, frozen custard, Culver’s® restaurant will open its doors to St. Charles on April 16th.. The restaurant, which serves fast casual food cooked-to-order, is located at 4068 East Main Street in St. Charles, and will be open from 10:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. every day with the exception of a few holidays.
Craig Culver, the chain’s co-founder, and local owner/operator, Peter Norton will be on hand to cut the ribbon April 20th to the new 4200 square foot restaurant, and also welcome guests to Culver’s 451st location.
“I’ve always wanted to open my own restaurant, and I believe Culver’s will serve as a great addition to the dining options in St. Charles,” says owner/operator, Peter Norton.
Peter is no stranger to Culver’s. He was General Manager of Culver’s of Lombard since 2005. “I’m thrilled that my long time partner, Scott Martenson, and I found the right location here in St. Charles. This is a terrific community, and I’m looking forward to serving our great tasting ButterBurgers and fresh made custard, in addition to supporting the community through Share Events, fundraisers and sponsorships,” says Peter.
Culver’s serves a large variety of lunch and dinner items, including its ButterBurger and frozen custard. “ButterBurgers are the chain’s most popular sandwich,” Peter explains. “They get their name from the touch of real butter we lightly brush on the crown of the bun before we toast it to a golden brown.” The all-natural ButterBurger is made from a blend of ground chuck and sirloin that is always fresh, never frozen.
Frozen custard is a premium ice cream, made fresh throughout the day. Guests can enjoy their frozen custard in a cone or dish and can customize the dessert to their taste with more than 30 Concrete mix-in flavors. Every day Culver’s offers three flavors of frozen custard: vanilla, chocolate and a flavor of the day.
Along with these signature menu items, Culver’s offers guests a wide menu variety including fresh garden salads, chicken, North Atlantic Cod and Prime Rib sandwiches. Every item on Culver’s large menu is cooked only after the guest orders it.
The new Culver’s employs 75 people who will help deliver Culver’s brand of friendly hospitality, high-quality food and service with a smile.
