Consolidating support for members, their employees, families & our community!
In these challenging days when COVID-19 continues to test our perseverance, it is hard to want to think beyond ourselves when many of us our struggling to survive. At the same time, however, I believe we are always stronger together, both as individuals, and as organizations in which we lead. To that end, the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce is announcing today the launch of The Stronger Together Community Program and asking you to join us as together, we navigate the waters to business and economic recovery.
The Stronger Together Community Program acknowledges the immediate challenges facing our business community, and the very real human cost on individual members, their families, and their employees. The Program provides two ways to quickly assist and support not only those Chamber members who have the most need, as well as all members, but also provides support to our broader community.
The responsibility of our Chamber has always been focused on the whole being greater than the sum of its parts ? though, today, some of those parts are struggling. The Stronger Together Community Program has been designed to ensure that current members, who may not be in a position to maintain a standard membership level, can continue to remain part of our Chamber utilizing the resources, programs, connections and more, to help them along the way to economic recovery. In addition, the Program ensures the Chamber can continue its dedicated mission to support its members and remain a viable part of our community.
One of my driving philosophies is to recognize that behind every organization we have the privilege to serve, there is a person ? and that person, is part of our community. There is always a human impact to what we do. As part of our commitment to the community, 20% of dollars raised through this Program will be forwarded to the Northern Illinois Food Bank to support those individuals and families, within our community, who are in much need of these fundamental services.
