Description
The Bandhas or energetic locks used in yoga practice, are considered the gateway to personal healing, building creative power, awakening self-knowledge, and speeding up the process of transformation. Come learn Bandha theory and practice in both asana and pranayama.
Join senior yoga teacher Tricia Fiske for this special workshop that will teach you how to take your practice from just a physical experience to a powerful energetic practice using the jalandara, uddiyana and mula bandha or locks. This knowledge is essential for any yoga student who wants to go deeper.
ABOUT TRICIA FISKE
Tricia Fiske, BA, 500E-RYT, is a Level II certified ParaYoga instructor. ParaYoga uses a wise progression of asana, pranayama, gandha, mudra, kriva, mantra and meditation in yoga practice. Tricia has been a student of yoga since 1997 and a teacher since 1999. She completed her first certification program at Moksha in 1998 and served as a mentor and co-teacher of the program 1999 - 2004. She began studying with Rod Stryker in 2002. In 2008 Tricia began teaching at Prairie Yoga and is now senior faculty at Prairie Yoga Teacher Training School.
