- Shelter Operations Team Member in our Women & Children's Center – Part-Time (16 hours)
We are in need of a person to join the Operations Team in our Women & Children's Center for 16 hours a week - Saturdays, 2:00pm-10:00pm and Sundays, 2:00pm-10:00pm.
Eligible for PTO based on 16 hours per week.
Flexibility in covering open shifts appreciated but not required.
General responsibilities are:
· Ensure safety and support of our women and children guests & volunteers, showing empathy & compassion.
· Assist female guests in acclimating to and following the house guidelines.
· Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with all guests.
· Help maintain the daily routine of the Women and Children's area of the shelter including meal prep, answering phones, etc.
· Maintain a clean environment.
· Foster rapport with donors & volunteers.
· Ability to stand for long periods of time, squat, kneel, climb and lift up to 25 lbs.
· Positivity a must!
· Social service background a plus!
