Trigger Point Demo Night!!
1. Basics of foam rolling: what it is, how to do it, when to do it
2. Benefits pre-workout: more efficient movement, preparing body for movement and upcoming demand, reintroducing elasticity and flexibility into the muscles to improve range of motion and biomechanics
3. Benefits post-workout: ideal time frame to roll out, flush out metabolic waste from muscle tissue, decrease recovery time and DOMS (delayed onset of muscle soreness)
4. Techniques for hitting key trigger point areas: soleus, gastroc, IT band, QuadsThis is our largest active running group. Come join our experienced and friendly runners that offer camaraderie and are more than willing to offer encouragement and advice. This group runs March through November when the clocks spring forward and fall back.
