Zimmerman Ford 30-Day Match Challenge Supporting The Salvation Army

Funding to sustain critical emergency food assistance, afterschool programs

Zimmerman Ford in Saint Charles graciously joins fellow Tri-City Donors in promising to match funds publicly raised for The Salvation Army’s thirty-day fundraising challenge.  A goal of $20,000 is needed in order to sustain much needed services in the community, such as food and emergency assistance, as well as afterschool programs.

If the community at-large is able to raise $10,000, their donations will be matched to reach a fundraising goal of $20,000.  The challenge has officially started and all funds raised will immediately be used to fund its key programs.

“The Salvation Army has been fighting for the needs of families in the Tri-Cities for over 65 years.  We are grateful for this partnership and the response of the community – a community that has always supported our work and ministry to those in need,” said Lt. Betsy Clark, corps officer for The Salvation Army Tri-City Corps and Joe K. Anderson Community Center.

This generous commitment from our donors has come at a time where the need for food and financial assistance, along with child and senior educational programs, is ever-rising.

The Salvation Army assists the community by offering a wide array of needed services such as emergency assistance for those most in need with paying their rent or mortgage, clothing, prescription drugs, utility bills, food, senior education, youth programming, worship services, and more.
